Examination Council of Zambia Online GCE Results Check 2023

The Examination Council of Zambia has release the 2023 online GCE results, candidates who sat for the General Certificate of Education (GCE) are required to go through this post to find out how to check the GCE Results online or by SMS.

Requirements to Check Your ECZ Results

For you to be able to check your ECZ results, you will need this information to log into the e-Statement of Result portal;

  1. Your candidate examination number
  2. Year of completion
  3. Select GCE as the type of examination

Examination Council of Zambia Online GCE Results Check 2023

Follow these procedures to check and download your ECZ General Certificate Examination – GCE results online for 2023;

  1. Visit the ECZ Results Portal via www.exams-council.org.zm/ecz-online
  2. Click on the E-statement of Results button
  3. Click on the Candidate Sign In link to sign in
  4. Select GCE as the type of your examination from the dropdown
  5. Enter your Examination Number in the textbox
  6. Click on the Continue button
  7. Your 2023 results will be displayed showing all your details and school
  8. Click on the Print Statement of Results button to print your exam slip
  9. A PDF document will be generated in a new tab within the browser

Note: If you get a message saying, The statement of results has been successfully generated BUT the statement is not shown in the browser, you need to enable pop-ups in your web browser. In that case, you will be required to redo the process from step 4.

Check Examination Council of Zambia GCE Results on Phone with SMS

Check your ECZ GCE results with your mobile phone using the ECZ SMS shortcode service with these guidelines; 

  1. Lunch the messaging app on your phone
  2. Compose new SMS content
  3. Type your Examination Number (Eg. 201913476813)
  4. Type the Examination Year (eg. 2023)
  5. Type Examination Grade (eg. GCE)
  6. The final message content will be in this format ( Exam Number + Year of Completion + Exam type) without space. Eg: 2019134768132023GCE
  7. Send the message to the shortcode: 8383 on all networks. (Note: SMS charge may be applied)
