The Makerere Law Journal (MLJ) is pleased to announce the opening for applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief for the 2023-2024 Editorial Board.

As a student-led Journal, it considers, reviews, and publishes submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year. The Editorial Board, headed by the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Editor-in-Chief, plays a crucial role in this process.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Editor-in-Chief

Prospective applicants must be students of the Makerere School of Law in their fourth year of study. The Editor-in-Chief will provide strategic leadership to the editorial board, oversee the review and publication process, and uphold the Journal’s reputation for excellence.

As a student-led Journal, it considers, reviews, and publishes submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year. The Editorial Board, headed by the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Editor-in-Chief, plays a crucial role in this process.

Prospective applicants must be students of the Makerere School of Law in their third year of study. The Deputy Editor-in-Chief will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and assist in managing the editorial board’s day-to-day operations, coordinating the review process, and ensuring the Journal’s high standards are maintained.
