Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) Partnership with Medical Insurance Scheme 2023
The management of Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) is pleased to announce to all interested health
service providers that a call for applications for partnership with the Medical Insurance Scheme is
open from July 10th to July 30th, 2023.
This call aims to enhance the equitable accessibility and availability of quality health services to
the members of the medical insurance scheme, with a special emphasis on areas with low coverage.
We are committed to providing our members with the highest standard of healthcare. Therefore,
in areas with high concentration, this call for applications specifically targets health service
providers who demonstrate a track record of delivering superior quality services.
Health facilities of all categories are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to hospitals,
polyclinics, specialized clinics, general clinics, paramedical clinics, optical shops, and pharmacies.
All medical partners already in collaboration with the medical scheme, who are requesting the
addition of new services to their existing contracts are also welcome to apply.
However, in the city of Kigali, the following specific conditions will apply:
1. Applications for Dental clinics run by dental therapists will not be considered.
2. To ensure the highest quality and accessibility of services to our members, only health service providers with the highest rankings will be selected for a partnership with the Medical Scheme.
Interested health facilities are requested to submit all documents at RSSB headquarters or electronic copies to info@rssb.rw with a copy to contractcommittee@rssb.rw.
