Unisa and ABASA meet to discuss ways to strengthen student support
Unisa and ABASA met to discuss ways to strengthen student support. A two-a-side delegation of leaders from both the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants in South Africa (ABASA) met recently to strengthen student support for success; as well as follow through on ongoing discussions about the applicable modalities and interventions to realise this objective.
Professor Puleng Lenka Bula, Unisa Principal and Vice Chancellor (Second, right) was supported by Professor Zodwa Motsa-Madikane, Vice Principal: Teaching, Learning, Community Engagement and Student Support (Second, left). ABASA was represented by Ms Linda Maqoma, its current President (Extreme left) and Mr Jeff Van Rooyen, its founding President (Extreme right).
The parties also used the opportunity to send well wishes to all Accounting students for the June 2023 sitting of the examinations.
