QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES – University of Malawi Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Philosophy Recruitment 2023

PhD in Philosophy, or Master of Arts in Philosophy, or Master of Arts in Applied Ethics, with a strong background in Ethical Theory, and Philosophy of Science and Technology.

Applicants for the Senior Lecturer position should have a track record of at least 3 publications in reputable journals.

A person of high integrity, dependable and ability to teach and mentor others.
DUTIES

Teaching, setting and timely grading of examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects within the department.

Participating in all academic and professional activities of the department.

Carrying out other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
