YouStart Online Application Portal

Login to YouStart Online Application Portal via gea.gov.gh to access the application form, also update your Youstart application through the GEA login on the portal and reset your portal password (SMS CODE).

Access the YouStart Online Application Portal

  1. Visit the YouStart website via gea.gov.gh.youstart
  2. Click on Apply for YouStart
  3. Then click on Login and you will be redirected to another page
  4. Enter your phone number and unique code / ID Number
  5. Click on Login to access your account

Reset Your YouStart Portal SMS CODE

Follow the procedure below to reset your SMS code online

  1. Visit the YouStart website via gea.gov.gh.youstart
  2. Click on Apply for YouStart
  3. Then click on Login and you will be redirected to another page
  4. Click on Forgot SMS code
  5. Then enter the phone number you used to create your account
  6. Click on Submit and an SMS code used for registration will be sent to that number

Documents Need to Apply to YouStart

To apply to YouStart you need the following documnets

  • Digital Address
  • Valid National ID Card preferably Ghana Card
  • Certificate of the most recent education attained
  • Valid mobile number

Who Qualifies to Apply

The following category of youth will be targeted:

  • Persons from the age of 18 to 40 years old
  • Minimum of Basic Education Certificate Examination
  • Willingness to start a business
  • School dropouts already in a business would be considered
  • Special attention would be given to women and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

  1. Visit the YouStart website via gea.gov.gh.youstart
  2. Click on Apply for YouStart
  3. Then click on Login and you will be redirected to another page
  4. Click on Start Application and then click on Get Started 
  5. Continue to complete your application form online and verify your phone number
